ABCD Event Video Editing Intern
Responsible for assisting Videographer in the day-to-day videotaping of agency events, and programs to develop informational videos. The intern should work independently and under supervision of the VMS. The intern must be able to edit 2-3 minute videos in a weekly basis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in editing agency special events including but not limited to graduations, program highlights, fundraising events, and neighborhood events among others.
2. Work with VMS in developing creative ways to edit promotional videos for the agency.
3. Edit 2-3 minute videos allowing for a week turnaround time on event videos to be posted on ABCD?s website.
4. Work independently but meet with VMS 1-2 times a week to go over rough cuts.
5. Perform other related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Video Production, Film Production, or Media Studies majors required. Minimum of two to three years relevant experience or school experience. Editing proficiency with Final Cut Pro required. Basic Motion or After Effects graphics skills highly preferred. Audio Sweetening skills a plus but not required. Basic Photoshop skills highly preferred. Good organizational skills with attention to detail. Must be able to work with diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
